Born and raised in South Texas, my roots are deeply intertwined with the soil. My dad worked tirelessly with local farmers, delivering fertilizer to ensure bountiful crops, while my mom nurtured young minds as a paraprofessional teacher and cultivated her love for growing flowers. Our home was a sanctuary of vibrant roses and fruitful trees, surrounded by the generous harvests of local farmers and my grandparents' cotton fields and okra patches.

The love for gardening truly blossomed for me about six or seven years ago when I discovered the Garden Answer YouTube channel. Watching Laura's creations reignited my childhood memories of begging my mom for a small patch of soil to grow vegetables. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, my determination led to a few successful radishes. It was a small victory that planted a seed of passion within me.

As life progressed and I raised my children, my love for gardening simmered in the background. However, it wasn't until I delved into Garden Answer that my passion truly flourished. I poured my time and energy into transforming my yard into a garden oasis, learning through research, trial and error, and countless YouTube videos about the diverse world of plants and flowers. Each discovery and every success built my confidence and expertise, shaping the garden I cherish today.

My goal is to share this passion with you, whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out.
